Modified Film Packaging

Modified Film packaging is suitable for a wide variety of fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and poultry products both fresh and frozen. Modified Film Packaging is an optimal blend of pure oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen within a high barrier or permeable package. A finely adjusted and carefully controlled gas blend is developed to meet the specific respiration needs for each packaged food product. The modification process often tries to lower the amount of oxygen (O2),  in order to slow down the growth of aerobic organisms and the speed of oxidation reactions. The removed oxygen can be replaced with nitrogen (N2), commonly acknowledged as an inert gas, or carbon dioxide (CO2), which can lower the pH or inhibit the growth of bacteria. Carbon monoxide can be used for preserving the red color of meat. A carefully controlled Modified Film Package achieves and maintains an optimal respiration rate to preserve the fresh colour, taste and nutrient content of red meat, seafood, minimally processed fruits and vegetables, pasta, prepared foods, cheese, baked goods, cured meats and dried foods throughout an extended shelf life.

Packaging Vulnerability With Stretch Wrap

Shrink wrap is commonly used as an overwrap on many types of packaging, including cartons, boxes, beverage cans and pallet loads. A variety of products may be enclosed in shrink wrap to stabilize the products, unitize them, keep them clean or add tamper resistance. It can be the primary covering for some foods such as cheese, meats, vegetables and plants. Heat-shrink tubing is used to seal electric wiring. Invention relates to packaging for heavy coils of strip material, and in particular to a packaging system that includes a skid supporting a heavy coil of strip material and stretch wrap plastic roped around the base of the coil and the corners of the skid.

The package includes means for increasing the friction between the coil and the skid and preferably includes means for reducing damage to the stretch wrap material and the coil during transport. The wrapping can be further strengthened by glueing the outer layers together, either with cold or hot glue.Since the cost of hot glue is steadily falling, it is increasingly replacing the cold glue formerly used, which is difficult to handle and not very popular among the personnel operating and servicing the wrapping machine.

Applications Of Shrink Wrap

Scaffold wrap containment of buildings/bridges
Marine shrink wrapping of boats and other vehicles
Industrial shrink wrap containment of large plant equipment/components
Building temporary shrink wrap structures for storage or other business operational uses

Functions Of Stretch Wrap

Protects from frigid conditions
Efficient storage after handling of goods per unit load
Degree of resistance & tampering to the package pilferage
Improved stability of packages & products, forming the unit load

Flexo Printing Bags

Flexo printing was great advances in the last few decades  have been made, including improvements to the plate material and the method of plate creation - usually photographic exposure followed by chemical etch, though also by direct laser engraving. Laser-etched anilox rolls also play a part in the improvement of print quality.Flexo has an advantage over lithography in that it can use a wider range of inks and is good at printing on a variety of different materials. Flexo inks, unlike those used in lithography generally have low viscosity. This enables faster drying and as a result, faster production, which means low cost.

Flexo print technology has grown to the most used print technology in the label industry. For the label industry the today Flexo technology gives the optimal combination in Quality, Productivity and flexibility.Flexographic printing is a method which uses a flexible relief plate to print onto a substrate, which may be a wood-pulp based, synthetic, or laminated material. substrates may include
Papers,Carton board,Non-woven textiles,Coated or un-coated liner board,Films such as polyester, OPP, nylon, and PE.
